Breeds in China and Primorsky Krai in the Russian Far East; winters in Southeast Asia
The Amur paradise flycatcher is native to China and Primorsky Krai in the Russian Far East and is a winter migrant to Southeast Asia. Until 2015 it was considered a subspecies of the Asian paradise flycatcher. Males come in two forms differing in the colour of their upperparts; all adult males have black hoods (Wikipedia, general species account).
