The common wolf snake is a colubrid snake commonly found in the Indo-Australian Archipelago. It is named after the enlarged front teeth, which give it a muzzled appearance similar to canines and make the snout somewhat more squarish than in other snakes. It is a slender-bodied small snake, less than a metre long (Wikipedia, general species account).
