Endemic to Indonesia (Java and Bali)
The black-winged myna, also known as the black-winged or white-breasted starling, is a starling endemic to Indonesia. Three subspecies are recognised: the nominate race across much of Java; tricolor, restricted to south-east Java; and tertius on Bali and possibly Lombok, where the few records have been questioned (Wikipedia, general species account).
